Talks between Barcelona and Paris St-Germain over the former re-signing striker Neymar have stalled due to the French club’s demands, according to reports.

Sport has reported that while PSG have said they are willing to let Neymar leave, their demands could scupper any deal.

PSG have supposedly asked for cash plus three players – unnamed – but Barca have balked over this. The thought is that PSG bosses don’t want to see the player return to his former club.

Real Madrid are also still said to be interested – despite spending more than £300 million this summer as manager Zinedine Zidane has rebuilt the squad – and are ready to jump in with an offer.

It is thought that Neymar himself will have to make a plea to PSG if talks are to reach any positive conclusion before the transfer window shuts for France and Spain on September 2.
